Art of the Guitar

The program will feature performances and discussions with classical guitarist and chair of the guitar department at the Berklee College of Music Dr. Kim Perlak, jazz guitarist and LAGCC faculty member Kevin McNeal, and myself. We will focus on our individual approaches to guitar performance related to our various musical paths as well as best practices in music education related to our own pedagogical practice. There will also be student performances presented in a masterclass setting. The program will be moderated by Dr Will Fulton and is presented with support from Project Conexion.
